MoMo is the most popular Fast-Food in Nepal. It is a Nepali style dumpling-with marinated minced-meat and/or vegetables mixed with unique Nepali spices inside a wrapper/pastry made of flour. The use of unique Nepali spices is what sets Nepali MoMo apart from other dumplings available in the market.
MoMo can be steamed, deep fried or steamed and then pan-fried. An essential part of MoMo is its side dish, Nepali style tomato Chutney/sauce made from tomatoes and mixed with various Nepalese spices.
